New Employee Orientation
Congratulations and welcome to FBISD! In the first few weeks of employment
with FBISD you will be required to complete a New Employee Orientation (NEO).
The NEO involves a three step process:
- Pre-Orientation
- Face to Face Orientation
- Post-Orientation
Pre-Orientation
The pre-orientation will be completed online within the first three days of your
start date. The online pre-orientation is a series of videos and documents
focused on providing you with essential information about your responsibilities,
benefits and rights.
Carefully read instructions for each link below and complete all tasks/activities.
You will be asked to print certain documents and obtain signatures prior to your
scheduled face to face orientation. Credit for the NEO will only be given if the
required documentation is completed and turned in on your scheduled
face to face orientation.
To begin the pre-orientation process, please follow the links below to complete
the mandatory training and forms.
This is required prior to attending a new employee orientation.
Face to Face Orientation
The purpose of the new employee orientation is to ensure that new employees receive a consistent message regarding the goals, mission, and culture of Fort Bend ISD, and that they are well informed of employment benefits and expectations.
The Human Resource Department schedules the face to face orientation date on the day you receive and accept an offer for employment. Please make arrangements to attend the orientation on your scheduled date for the entire duration. If you arrive late or leave early, you will be rescheduled for another full session.
