Electronic Media
In the Electronic Media track, students work with digital video cameras and an advanced digital production switcher and the courses are designed to give students an overall exposure to all aspects of television production, mobile media, podcasting, vidcasting and solid-state media technology.
The Electrionic Media track provides opportunities for students to receive in-depth exposure to a specific career pathway in the area of Television & Film Production.
Opportunities with the Electronic Media Academy:
- Media Academy Council where all grade levels can participate in the planning of annual events and fundraisers
- Articulated college credit for Video Tech 1 10th grade level
- College Now, college credit for both junior and senior level courses
- Senior level internships with local media companies
- Certification in professional video editing & graphics software
