Laurie Caldwell
Board Member
Laurie Caldwell was first elected to Position 5 of the Board of Trustees in 2005 and again in 2008. She has served as Vice President and Secretary of the FBISD Board. Caldwell has volunteered extensively in FBISD, and served on the District Audit, Comprehensive Developmental Guidance, Discipline Management and Teacher of the Year Selection Committees; as a Volunteer in Public Schools, PTO officer at Palmer Elementary and PTA President at Lake Olympia Middle School, and on Campus Based Leadership Teams. Caldwell received her Bachelor of Science degree in Family Relations and Business from Weber State University. She worked as an Area Director of Student Housing at Weber State University and at Fort Lewis College. Caldwell and her husband of 24 years, Shaun, have three children: two children who attend Fort Bend ISD schools and one son who is a 2008 graduate of Elkins High School. She is a Special Education Math Interventionist in Alief ISD.
