George Bush High School opened its doors in 2001 and has since then developed an environment of high academic standards and character. The faculty and students have worked diligently over the years to create an environment that encourages its cultural diversity and pushes toward a culture of excellence. The overarching theme felt throughout the halls is that we at Bush High School "Believe in the Possibilities...and Expect Success" from our students, administrators, and teachers!

George Bush High School will guide each student in the persuit of academic achievement, vocational training, and collegiate preparation according to national, state, and district standards. Staff, faculty, and students will demonstrate a strong sense of character by giving respect to others, showing personal respobsibility, and providing service to school and community. George Bush High School is committed to providing a support system to ensure continuous success of all students.

Bush High School is located just South of the West Park Tollway, off of FM 1464. From Hwy 6 and Westheimer: -Go West on Westheimer to 1464. -Turn Left (South) on 1464. -Pass under the West Park Tollway. -Bush High School will be shortly after the Tollway to your left.

9th Grade Academy
|
|
The 9th Grade Academy allows for students to follow a common schedule, where they have the same four core teachers as other students in their class, so that teachers and students have the ability to make meaningful relationships across the curricular areas. The 9th grade team of teachers take pride in their standard of "Failure is not an Option", and work hard to ensure that their students are successful in all their endeavors.
