Important Information for the Students and Parents
- Log onto the FBISD Parent Portal available for Middle School and High School Parents The FBISD Parent Portal is now available to FBISD middle school and high school parents and includes the second progress report for the 2009-2010 school year.
The FBISD Parent Portal will be available to FBISD elementary school parents on Oct. 22 in time for the first report card for the 2009-2010 school year.

Health and Safety Issues

- School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is a school board appointed advisory group of individuals who represent different segments of the community. A majority of the members must be parents of students enrolled in the district and who are not employed by the district. The FBISD SHAC is made up of parents, community members, and school staff working together to improve the health of all students and families through coordinated school health programs.

- The 4x4 - New Graduation Requirements Starting with 9th Grade Students in 2007-2008! Beginning with the 2007-08 school year, freshman students entering high school will be required to take four years of math and four years of science - hence the "4x4."
