Academies are personalized, small learning communities that function within a larger high school with a mixture of career and academic classes offered to students. Enrollment of approximately 400 students is eventually anticipated for each academy.
Students attending academies generally take more advanced courses in their areas of specialization and have the opportunity to earn college credit.

Academy Applications
Academy Application open October 25, 2012 through December 14, 2012 for the high school academies, and December 15, 2012 through February 22, 2013 for the middle school academies.
Students must complete and submit the online application, which includes an essay and two teacher recommendations, by the designated deadline.
