Fort Bend Fabulous! 5th Annual International Festival & Model Search
The 5th annual festival presented by the Fort Bend Education Foundation is scheduled to take place Saturday, November 6, 2010, from 10:00 am to 3:00 p.m. in Sugar Land Town Square. The event celebrates the tremendous diversity of cultures in our school district by highlighting their unique traditions, arts, and foods.
The International Festival will showcase booths from 18 different countries from all over the world. Entertainment will be provided on the steps of City Hall by talented artists and students of FBISD schools as well as various local dance and music programs. There will be a cultural wedding/celebration fashion show featuring styles from around the world. Area restaurants will provide a sampling of international cuisines. Students will enjoy the “Activities Booth” where they can experience toys and games of different cultures. Elementary age children will receive a “Passport” for visiting each country and an international goody bag when they leave.

Country Booths
At the Fort Bend Fabulous International Festival you will be offered a feast for all your senses as booths from 18 different countries display their cultural traditions and décor. Elementary age children will want to be sure to visit the cultural booths where they can record their travels in their "Passports". After visiting booths they can turn in their passport and receive a goody bag.
If you would be interested in having a country booth at the festival please complete and return the Country Booth Form. These forms are considered on first-come-first-serve basis. Booths are limited and will be assigned on a first come basis.

Food Booths
To accentuate the cultural experience at the Fort Bend Fabulous International Festival, various ethnic restaurants will offer international cuisine that you can buy. The delicious smells alone will make you want to try a sampling from various cultures.
If you would be interested in having a food booth at the festival please complete and return the Food Booth Form. These forms are considered on first-come-first-serve basis. Booths are limited and will be assigned on a first come basis.

Performances
During the Passport to the World international festival, you will be entertained from the steps of City Hall with talented artists and students from FBISD and a host of regional dance and music schools. If you have a performance group that would like to participate in the festival please complete and return the Performance Contract. These contracts are considered on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Fashion Show
We will close the Fort Bend Fabulous International Festival with a cultural wedding/celebration fashion show featuring styles from around the world. If you have are interested in participating in the fashion show please complete and return the Fashion Show Participant Contract. These contracts are considered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
