What Should My Child Know
FBISD Gifted and Talented teachers have been trained to differentiate the regular curriculum. The content, or topics, being taught in the Gifted and Talented classroom are in line with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) as they are in the regular education classroom. To differentiate the curriculum, teachers add depth and complexity to the content in GT classrooms, they may differentiate how they teach the curriculum or what they expect for demonstrated mastery (student products).
