Welcome to the new web site for our Current FBISD Substitute Teachers. On this web site, we will post important information, updates, newsletters, the annual Letter of Intent, etc. Below is the 2010-2011 Letter of Intent and monthly issues of the Substitute Newsletter. Please note - You must have a bachelor's degree or higher to be a Resident Substitute.
Long term assignments at Clements HS: one in math (algebra I, II) and one in Science (chemistry). Assignments starts next week and run for about 9 weeks. If interested, contact Lorrie Hubert.
NEW - Long term substitute needed at the Teacher Center located in the FBISD Annex. Hours Monday-Friday 2:15 pm - 8:15 pm. Qualifications: Ability to work unsupervised; Operate a copy machine; Operate laminating machine and load laminating film; Change paper in poster machines; Assist with computer questions and issues; Operate small equipment - die cut machines, binding machine, button maker; Assist patrons one-on-one; Handle multiple tasks and requests; Stand for long periods of time; Lift up to 40 pounds. NEW - Long term elementary science specialist substitute at Glover Elementary through October. Must be TX elementary certified. If interested, contact the principal, Kellie Clay.NEW - Long-term substitute for Health Science at Hightower HS; prefer someone with a medical background. If interested, contact Tana Holmes.
