The FBISD Teacher Forum is composed of a membership of teachers who are the current Campus Teachers of the Year and the District Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year dating back to 2003. The Teacher Forum is governed by the Teacher Forum Leadership Council which is made up of the current and past District Teachers of the Year.
The Council meets monthly to:
a) act as a clearinghouse for teacher suggestions and concerns directed to the superintendent and senior leadership,
b) plan and sponsor Teacher Forum events held during the school year for the membership,
c) serve on district committees, and
d) bring forth recommendations for changes and improvements which will positively impact teachers in the district and timely updates on the district's successes and initiatives.
