The TAKS exit-level retest will be given October 19 – 22, 2010. Any out-of-school person needing to take any or all of the retests in order to fulfill the graduation requirement may register online at https://k12testing.tx.ncspearson.com/taksoos/ by September 17, 2010. You may also call 281-634-1404 to register.

October 19 English Language Arts
October 20 Mathematics
October 21 Science

State Promotion Requirements
Students in Grade 5 and 8 must pass the reading and math TAKS tests to be promoted to the next grade level. Please note that students in Grade 3 are no longer required to pass the reading portion of the TAKS to be promoted to Grade 4.
Students who entered high school prior to the 2011 – 2012 are required to pass the Exit level TAKS test administered during Grade 11 in order to graduate. Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, TAKS high school tests will be phased out and replaced by twelve end-of-course assessments. Students currently in 7th grade or below will be required to perform satisfactorily on these assessments in order to graduate.
