Time and time again, without hesitation, Jacobs has served as title sponsor of our Annual Sugar Shindig and been a top donor over the years, contributing to the success of many FBEF events! In fact, their generous support contributed to the success of this year’s Sugar Shindig, which netted an estimated $58,000 to support the Education Foundation’s Grants to Teachers and Schools Program! We appreciate Jacobs for connecting with us and raising the bar in all that you do! For those reasons, we are honored to call Jacobs a valued partner!

Digital Media Academy students at Hightower High School are continuing to benefit from a $19,909 Founders Grant awarded to the school to support its “Aiming to Animate” project. Given the grant, academy teachers purchased HP Desktop workstations, 24-inch computer displays, ports, keyboards and other technological equipment to support student learning. The students access the equipment to create animations and gain technical experience, while becoming proficient in industry-standard technology. With the skills they are gaining, the academy students will be prepared for college programs or entry-level positions in digital media.
