Coach Purcell is in his 17th year at Hightower H.S.  Coach Purcell retired from coaching as Head Coach of Boy's Soccer and Asst. Coach Football.  Coach Purcell teaches Special Education Occupational Prep and Co-Teach's in Social Studies.  He experienced college football with Sam Houston State, receiving his BBA from Texas State.  His wife is Jane Purcell.  Their daughter Sarah graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, finishing 4 years of college soccer.  She was named 2014 MVP, scoring the most points for the 2014 season.
