Señora Sánchez – Spanish Teacher
I’m originally from Madrid, Spain, where I was hired by Fort Bend ISD to bring my passion for language and culture to Texas classrooms.

My love for languages led me to earn a Master's Degree in English Philology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. During my university years, I volunteered as a Spanish instructor for the Summer University program organized by AEGEE (Association des États Généraux des Étudiants de l’Europe), where I taught international students for three consecutive summers.

After nine years of teaching English at the high school level in Madrid, I made the exciting move to Texas to teach Spanish at Fort Settlement Middle School — a place I now proudly call my second home.

I currently teach Spanish 1 and truly enjoy helping students discover the beauty of the Spanish language and culture. Every year brings new energy, and it’s a joy to grow and learn alongside my students.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and our three daughters.

I'm grateful for the welcoming community here in Texas and the opportunity to teach in such an enriching international environment. I look forward to another amazing school year and wish all my students a successful and fun journey in Spanish. ¡Olé!
